I took a genuine day off today. I actually had time to destress. I didn’t even bother with tourism. I didn’t have to. Although I do hope more time will come in my debrief week.
I spent most of the day in Ichikawa. Sat down for coffee and wrote some postcards (it’s too cold at the guesthouse), learned where to post them so they’ve gone out now. Sorted out my blog somewhat ready for the serious journalling which is to come. I did get bored this evening so I did go back into Tokyo for dinner and a Stoll . But came straight back for an early night.
Shinkansen tomorrow. I wonder if the people here know that we call it the bullet Train…
