My last post was great, it was all about the 3rd of November and how awesome it was going to be! and yea it was! I had a great day making milkshakes at Santa Pod and a saw a firewerk!
what I forgot to mention in my last post was that I was going to have a car accident! whoopsie!
and yes, it was a genuine accident. turns out that a Citroen Saxo isn’t as heavy as I thought it was, and on turning a corner at roughly 25mph on a 40mph curvature, I managed to leave the road. the experience was much liek “o, I’m not on the road anymore” so I steered back towards the road and realized that actually I was not on the ground so I was still traveling in the opposite direction to my desired route (going left when steering right)
Unfortunately that thinking meant that when I landed in the ditch on the other side of the road I couldn’t drive out forwards, the wheels were locked to the right, and the easiest way out was left.
the drivers behind me at the time stopped to see if I was ok, I was (and still am btw), and a kind gentleman who informed me that there was “no way you (he means me) could have survived that!” also advised me to try reversing out of the ditch. it werked. the car came out of the ditch, the front bumper came off and we could see that one tire had come off the axle.
I called daddy, we changed my wheel and we put the front of ma car in the back of ma car* and we drove home. the end. moral of the story: always wear a life jacket on a boat!
I’m told that Sorted in London was a good day, my friends their got lost tho, lol sux to be them on that day!
Also, stunning performance from Brian Williams on SNL that night, liek wow, the episode wasn’t that funny tbh, but Brian Williams! liek wow! wow! also, a distinct lack of it was live – but its not my show to decide what happens (Lorne Michaels *pointy finger*)
*if my car was a newt, then its jaw would be in its rectum
